Formula of Concord
- Was established by Martin Cemnitz
- Took intermediate position
- Uphold the strict Lutherans, denying there was no differentiation between Calvin and Luther in communion
- Cemnitz accepted many of the theses of strict Lutheranism, followed a methodology similar to Melanchton's
